| Wed, Jan 7th | Afternoon Ambling Let's enjoy walking a 5K route on the beautiful Santa Clara University Campus together this afternoon. Sign in: 2:15PM, walk by 2:30PM Directions to start at the intersection of Chapman Ave and the Alameda: From I-880 north or southbound, take The Alameda Ave exit NORTH. Go 1/3 mile to the the second or third light. The Alameda becomes Highway 82 and will curve right at the traffic light. See the "Santa Clara University" sign on the low wall. Turn LEFT at the light to stay on The Alameda. There is a 4 hour parking limit on The Alameda or use the street's island with 2-hour limit. Contact person: Suzi Glass 408-592-3935 |

| Wed, Jan 21st | Afternoon Ambling Today we are walking Loop #1 of our Hills of Evergreen year round trail. Meet at Fowler Creek park on Altia Ave. There is a lot with free parking or you may park on the park side of the street. This loop sends you by ponds and up the Montgomery Hill Trail to overlooks for Evergreen college and East San Jose. Meet at 2:15PM to walk at 2:30PM Driving directions: Fowler Creek Park, San Jose, in the Evergreen District. North or South Hwy 101; take exit 382, East Capitol Expressway towards the hills. After 1.1 miles, turn Right onto Aborn Rd. Go 3.4 miles, turn Right on Mosher Dr (traffic light). Meet and start at Fowler Creek Park on Altia Ave. There is a lot with free parking or you may park on the park side of the street. This loop includes Rue Mirassou (avenue), the Sikh Temple and Aborn Road. Meet at 2:15PM to walk by 2:30PM Driving directions: Fowler Creek Park, San Jose, in the Evergreen District. North or South Hwy 101; take exit 382, East Capitol Expressway towards the hills. After 1.1 miles, turn Right onto Aborn Rd. Go 3.4 miles, turn Right on Mosher Dr (traffic light). | Sat, Jan 31st | 40th Anniversary Walk Come join us as we celebrate our milestone anniversary by walking one of our original (and favorite) routes through the beautiful historic homes in Los Gatos. This walk takes you into the hills of Los Gatos with stunning historical homes and landscapes. You will see remnants of the wide gauge railroad ties of the train that connected Los Gatos to San Jose.The gentle hills and beautiful landscaping are a piece of this town that is off the beaten path! But, what is a “Bell Ringer” home? Come and find out! Register: 9:00AM-11:00AM Finish by 3:00PM Start Point: Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company, 101 W. Main St, Los Gatos, CA 95030 DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 280 or 101, take Hwy 17 (880) S. towards Santa Cruz. Take Los Gatos-Saratoga exit (not East Los Gatos). Turn left at first traffic signal, University Ave. Proceed to end of University; at T at W. Main, Los Gatos Roasting Co. is directly in front of you. NB Hwy 17, take Main Ave. exit for Los Gatos.
