| Sun, Sep 12th | San Rafael Mission Walk Walk through downtown San Rafael and some of its historic neighborhoods. Over 101, around Dominican University and past the old San Rafael Mission site. See the current church buildings that are well over 100 years old. Walk on sidewalks and paved streets. There is a short stretch of uphill that those with walking difficulties would find troublesome. | Sat, Dec 11th | Monterey Adobes Night Walk This is a special walk which includes the Tour through the Historic Adobes in downtown Monterey. Docents dress in period costume and explain the activities of daily life during this era. The walk occurs only at night, and the adobe pathway is lit by luminarias. Details at AVA. DIRECTIONS |
