Meet at the Pruneyard Pergola off Campbell Ave, just before the overpass. Meet up at 4:45pm to walk by 5:00PM Contact: Suzi Glass (408) 592-3935 Driving directions: From Hwy 17/880, take the Hamilton Ave. exit, go LEFT (east) to Bascom Ave. Turn RIGHT on Bascom to Campbell Ave., then turn RIGHT again. Enter the Pruneyard Shopping Center at the second driveway. Park in the lot to your LEFT, just before the overpass. |
| Wed, Nov 6th | Afternoon Ambling Walking Coyote Creek Trail to Hellyer Park is on our agenda today. Join us at Shady Oaks Park, 948 Coyote Road at the stop sign at Coyote Road and Broderick. We will walk to Hellyer Park and return. Sign up: 2:45PM Walk at 3:00PM Driving Directions to Shady Oaks Park: From Hwy 17, North or South, merge onto CA-85 South. Take exit 4 onto Blossom Hill Road, turn left on Blossom Hill. In 2.7 miles, turn left onto Coyote Rd. In 0.5 miles, the park is on your right. Park on Coyote Road (watch for time limits) or intersecting streets. The start is the "T" intersection of Broderick and Coyote Rd at the Stop sign. Contact: Suzi Glass 408-592-3935 |
| Wed, Nov 13th | Afternoon Ambling Come join us as we walk Almaden Lake Year Round trail together. NOTE : park in the VTA lot, and look for Suzi and John's white Jeep with the back open. This time we are starting at Almaden Lake Trail, and walking the 5K loop of the Almaden Lake walk. Register: 2:45PM to walk at 3:00PM Take Alamden Expwy south. Turn LEFT on Coleman and immediate LEFT again, into the apartment complex (1st traffic light). You will pass the patio and apartment offices on your right. | Wed, Nov 20th | Afternon Ambling Note Earlier Start Time:This afternoon we meet at Pfeiffer Park on Camden in the parking lot on the left. We will enjoy the 5K Los Alamitos Trail and neighborhood loop of our Almaden Lake Year round route. Sign in: 2:45PM, walk at 3:00PM Driving Directions to start point: Drive south on Almaden Expressway; turn Left on Camden Ave. In one block, there is a stop sign.
