| Wed, Jun 11th | Sunset Striding ANOTHER FULL MOON walk!! You have GOT to come join us in greeting the Strawberry Moon. We are walking the Hills of Evergreen Loop #1. Meet up at Fowler Creek Park on Altia Ave. by the restrooms. Walk goes by ponds, up Montgomery Hill trail (or along recreational trail if the hill is too difficult) to the the Strawberry Moon rise and overlook Evergreen College and San Jose. Driving directions: North or South on Hwy 101- take exit 382, East Capitol Expwy towards the hills. After 1.1 miles, turn Right onto Aborn rod. After 3.4 miles, turn right onto Mosher Dr (traffic light). At the traffic circle, go right, counterclockwise, to the second exit, Altia Ave. turn Right. The park is on your right. | Wed, Jun 18th | Sunset Striding This afternoon we are back in Campbell, this time walking the Park and Town portion of our year round trail. Meet at the Pruneyard Pergola off Campbell Ave, just before the overpass. Meet up at 5:15 pm to walk at 5:30 pm Contact: Suzi Glass (408) 592-3935 Driving directions: From Hwy 17/880, take the Hamilton Ave. exit, go LEFT (east) to Bascom Ave. Turn RIGHT on Bascom to Campbell Ave., then turn RIGHT again. Enter the Pruneyard Shopping Center at the second driveway. Park in the lot to your LEFT, just before the overpass. |
| Wed, Jun 25th | Sunset Striding Come join us as we walk Almaden Lake Year Round trail together. NOTE : park in the VTA lot, and look for Suzi and John's white Jeep with the back open. This time we are starting at Almaden Lake Trail, and walking the 5K loop of the Almaden Lake walk. Register: 5:15PM to walk at 5:30PM Take Alamden Expwy south. Turn LEFT on Coleman and immediate LEFT again, into the apartment complex (1st traffic light). You will pass the patio and apartment offices on your right.
